His Royal Highness Chairman of High Hajj Committee Valued SRCA Efforts in Hajj Season 1431 - 07/12/2010

His Royal Highness sent his thankfulness and recognition to High Hajj Committee, in addition to all participants representing Kingdome Civilian and Military sectors, and Private sector. This great attitude was a reflection of retroactive plans extraordinary implementation, including continuous assessment, programs, and close follows up. The General Director of Saudi Customes Valued SRCA Efforts - 04/12/2010

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, received an appreciation letter from His Excellency Mr. Saleh Bin Munie Al Khaliwi, The General Director of Saudi Customs, for the great efforts and remarkable participation that has been significantly apparent at The Second Arab Consumer and Brand Protection Forum and Protection of intellectual property rights. The Forum was organized recently at Riyadh by Saudi Customs Department from 10 to 12/ 10/2010, under valuable custody of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, May Allah bliss him.

His Excellency Mr. Saleh Al Khaliwi concluded his letter by:" These extraordinary humanitarian efforts have excellent impact on Forum successfulness and any other Forums. I wish coordination between us and SRCA last long for public benefit, especially that we all witness developmental leaps The Saudi Red Crescent Authority comes through in order to spread humanity services for maximum number of people.

SRCA President Approval of 308 Health List Employees - 03/12/2010
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, has approved 308 SRCA employees' promotions, who are included at the health list in all over Kingdome provinces. The promotions were divided as follows: 9 names from General Directorate of Saudi Red Crescent Authority main center, 21 employees from Qaseem branch, another 11 employees from Bahabranch, 15 employees from Northern border, 5 employees from Tabouk General Directorate, 59 employees from General Directorate of Eastern Province, 84 from Mecca branch, 37 employees from Riyadh, 13 from Aseer Authority employees, 7 from Najran province, 3 employees from Jazan branch, and finally 25 employees from Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch at Medina.
SRCA Efforts for Reunion between Kingdome Families and Detained Outside - 30/11/2010

According to directions of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, of overcoming tough obstacles impeded humanitarian efforts, especially in regard of detained Saudis outside the Kingdome.

Mr. Foad Bawaba, the representative of International Red Cross & Red Crescent Committee Team arrived to Riyadh coming from Kuwait, to coordinate with Authority's International Affairs Administration establishing the project of familial connections reunion by means of video conference calls. There are three families in Riyadh, which were able to contact with their own children through communication at Main Authority location in SAHAFA distribution, beside other families in Jeddah, Jazan, and Abha.

It is worth mentioning that this humanitarian project is not limited to Saudi detained only, but also to Kingdome residents. Both citizens and residents expressed their happiness and appreciation of the project enabling them to reach their isolated sons.

President of SRCA raised Congratiolation telegrams on the occasion of Current Hajj Season Successfulness to The High Government - 25/11/2010

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, raised his gratitude and thankfulness to the High Government for the precious success of current Hajj season by Allah's graces on visitors of The Holy Mosques. His Royal Highness praised the efficiency of previous preparation and organization, especially in managing numerous crowds on both security and medical levels in all facilities that simplified pilgrimages accessibility towards doing their rituals. Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz added that most significant achievements have been reflected on pilgrimages performances and attitudes. A brain dead Philippine Muslim has saved lives of nine high risk patients - 23/11/2010

In reference to direct supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and previous coordination with Saudi Center of Organ Transplantation, Air Rescue implemented medical evacuation of a brain dead Philippine Muslim patient worked as fish hunter in Rabeg city. After getting family donation approval of his organs, Air Rescue flight transferred the dead patient from General Rabeg Hospital at about 06:15 O'clock PM arriving to Jeddah King Fahd Hospital at 06:50 O'clock PM, in order to benefit from his organs including heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, pancreas, and cornea for saving lives of nine patients. In the field, Captain Abdul Hakeem Al Joufi, Saudi Air Rescue Operation Manager, checked up the implementation process of this mission, pilots of Air Rescue plane were Captain Mohammed Atiya and Captain Khalid Abu Jlea.

On other hand, Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, assured the complete preparations of Saudi Air Rescue teams to provide full medical rescue services as soon as it is needed. Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz also indicated that Allah blessings, then generous support of the faithful government of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince and Deputy Premier Minister of Interior and the Chairman of High Hajj Committee were main motivations behind the remarkable success achieved.

Brave Air Rescue Men left The Holy Lands by transferring Four Different Cases - 22/11/2010
Next to their application of the first and the second stages of Hajj current season participation, Air Rescue brave men left The Holy Lands in order to flight over exits monitoring movement of pilgrimages throughout their journey back homes. Hence, the third stage started by four missions on the first day, one accident occurred at 05 O'clock AM on Jamoom bridge (Mecca – Medina Road), an injured was transferred to Jeddah King Abdul Aziz Hospital. At 09 O'clock AM, another Rescue Air plane undertook the responsibility of transferring a patient to Medina King Fahd Hospital after he had been hit on North of (Hemna) 40 KM area. Another Rescue Air flight responded at 11 O'clock AM to accident notification on Al Hada Road, and contributed in transferring a patient to Mecca Hera Hospital. The Fourth notification raised to Rescue Air Operation Room at 06:O'clock PM announcing two critical cases due to an accident occurred over North of Hemna area too. One patient was checked to be requiring urgent transferring to Medina King Fahd Hospital to receive intensive medical care. Air Rescue team had to return back to flight over Mecca Road, looking forward providing all safety services to Pilgrimages until leaving procedures are completed. This subsequently will lead to the third and final stage of current Hall season participation plan.
Saudi Red Crescent Authority Air Rescue conclusion of the first and the second stages of 1431 Hajj plan successfully. - 19/11/2010
Saudi Red Crescent Authority Air Rescue concluded the first and the second stages of 1431 Hajj plan successfully. Captain Abdul Hakeem Al Joufi, Saudi Air Rescue Operation Manager, reported the plan has consisted of three stages. The first one launched by planes existence at five different locations to assure pilgrimages safety during their visit to Holy Lands of Mecca Mukarramah and Medina Munawarah, which begins at 25/11/1431 and ends at 07/12/1431. Therefore, the second stage started by centralizing Air Rescue planes at Arafat between 07-13/12/143. Throughout this period, total of 78 sorties implemented, including 30 rescue tasks recalling rescue notifications of transferring injuries from Holy Lands and from road accidents, other 48 tasks were training sorties to enhance professionalism of working teams on Holy Lands. Captain Al Joufi said "We prepared the suitable plan of participation in current Hajj season upon direction of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, of providing best facilities and possibilities to Holy Allah Guests. We were touched by satisfaction towards program standards and quality of performance. Now then, we are well prepared to begin the third stage in which the planes will re-spread outside the Holy Lands, covering travel roads leading to Mecca and Medina back and forth. This activity will take place between 13-20/12/1431, till the last group of pilgrimages return safely to its country."
A report of SRCA Motorcycles Essential Role - 18/11/2010

Group of Motorcycles has launched at 28/11/1431 from Al Mansur Rescue Center to places in The Central Area. They are divided over three periods of time; each period takes eight hours, in order to cover whole day events. Six teams are dedicated for first and second periods, and three teams are responsible for third period. In case of intensive overcrowding, or ways closure, ordinary ambulances might not be able to arrive as fast as they are supposed to be. Motorcycles teams job here is mainly to cover the unreachable places, for example but not limited, peak times post or prior each pray, or as needed in view of different circumstances.

Next are the central areas around Holy Mosque which should be covered by Motorcycles group:
1- Al Ghaza area
2- Ajyad area
3- Al Hajla area
4- Al Mesfalah area

It is worth mentioning that all teams participated in Arafat Holy Land.

Saudi Red Crescent Air Rescue helicopters continued air sorties above The Holy Lands - 18/11/2010

Based on directions of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, Saudi Red Crescent Air Rescue helicopters continued air sorties above The Holy Lands and places where pilgrimages gather during this Holy Timing. Five rescue tasks of likely moderate to serious cases were transferred from Mina area, by ambulance vehicles which rose up to north Jamarat Bridge strip using certain electrical elevators. The cases were managed by specialized medical qualifications till arrival to hospitals in Mecca Mukarramah.

Four cases were transferred to Al Noor Hospital, which is well known in dealing with such cases. The other case was moved to Heraa Hospital.

SRCA Supervisors have appreciated "Strategies of Responce to Emergencies and Catastrophes" Course - 18/11/2010

In accordance to directions of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, and to the anticipation in advance policies of Saudi Red Crescent Authority leaders, A course titeled "Strategies of Response to Emergencies and catastrophes" was held in Prince Naïf Auditorium at the main location of Aziziah Rescue Center, Mecca Mukarramah. In accordance to policies and approaches of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques in following up carefully pilgrimages journey from their arrival till their departure from the Holy Lands. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, since his presidency inauguration, has looked forward to provide all possible utilizations and reassured implementation of approved plans throughout his inspection visits annually. His Royal Highness rose for inspected visit above Saudi Red Crescent Authority facilities starting from Arafat Air Rescue Base, which includes Control Vehicle that organizes requirements of rescue cases in coordination with Central Operation Division in Holy Lands. His Royal Highness listened to brief explanation about work process plans since the beginning of Hajj Season. There were no considerable troubles this year because of providing motorcycles teams, walking teams, and fast interference teams. Reasons behind the raised number of notifications will be announced after discussing causes by the end of current Hajj Season. Finally, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz expressed his pride of Saudi qualifications for their exceptional abilities in Air Rescue, and his thankfulness to Media for the excellent role in shedding lights on Saudi Red Crescent Authority humanitarian contributions.

President of SRCA inspection Tour to Air Rescue Location - 17/11/2010

As His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz habit of boosting his brothers who are working in The Holy Land, His Royal Highness President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority inspected the temporary location of Arafat Air Rescue today's afternoon 09/12/1431. His Royal Highness oriented rescue tasks process including airplanes movements plans and methods of receiving notifications in Holy Lands areas. His Royal Highness expressed to Authority employees and media representatives, his deep happiness over the extent of available preparations, and He assured on providing all possibilities of comfort and safety to serve Allah Holy Mosque Guests.

From other side, Captain Abdul Hakeem Al Joufi, Saudi Air Rescue Manager, pointed out that total of 15 air orientation happened in Arafat Standing day only, transferring 10 different moderate to severe cases, to Al Noor Hospital in Mecca Mukarramah and King Abdul Aziz in Jeddah. The cases required transferring varies between rescuing pilgrimages from Holy Land, and responding to road accidents over Taif – Laith coastal road. Only two cases were transferred to previous hospitals by Air Rescue because of intensive crowding. Air Rescue Employees care the most about the golden hour, which indicates the speed of response successfully, regardless distance between main location and accident's location. Arafat Air Rescue Office was opened during last days for Media representatives' visit under organization with Hajj Media Committee, which was met with satisfaction.

It is worth to be mentioned that visits of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz usually leave trust and spirit for all Authority employees.

His Excellency Minister of Health visited SRCA facilities - 15/11/2010

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Allah Al Rabiah, Minister of Health offored an inspection visit to measure the extent of Authority readiness for current Hajj year 1431 H. Mr. Fayez Al Ahmari, The Acting Deputy of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, with number of High administration members, accompanied His Excellency the Minister of Health throughout his touring over operations' rooms in location, besides Air Rescue Operation Room, central leadership bus including its high technical equipments, and process of tracing the incoming notifications. His Excellency also checked the new ambulance vehicles, team of Infection Control, and motorcycles specialized for current season of Hajj in the Holy Lands.

By the end of the visit, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Allah Al Rabiah showed his admiration and satisfaction against advanced level of rescue and medical services presented to pilgrims. Moreover, His Excellency Minister of Health expressed his thankfulness towards faithful continuous efforts of SRCA under presidency of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Air Rescue Planes and Two Different Missions, Plus The First Convergence in Current Hajj Season - 15/11/2010

Air Rescue Operation Office received on Sunday 8th of Dhu Al Hijja 1431 a notification call concerning one of pilgrimages that has been affected with Stroke Case required transferring him from Arafat Holy Land to Al Noor Hospital in Mecca Mukarramah to receive the proper treatment. Two Air Rescue planes responded in six minutes to two notifications, the first call was at 6:o'clock PM informing about two critical cases as a result of car accident in Wasga area 152 Km far from Mecca. The second call came at 7: o'clock concerning a critical injury of a thirties woman, required urgent transferring to the nearest medical service. All patients were submitted to King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Jeddah.

On the other hand, an Air Rescue plane implemented first mission of convergence in this year, in which ambulance vehicle raised to the top of Jamarat North Bridge by electrical elevators to pick up a dangerous case. Then, the patient was transferred to Al Noor Hospital in Mecca by Air Rescue Plane. Captain Abdul Hakeem Al Sadoon, Air Rescue Operation Manager said that the strategy of determining a specific point between Ground Rescue and Air Rescue is one of the smart strategies approved by Saudi Air Rescue, as an evidence of distance cutting short importance and overcome any obstacle might occur.

Acting Deputy of SRCA visited Mina, Arafat, and Jamrat Bridge Centers - 14/11/2010

In line of the policy of Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdu Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, recommending to boost field's workers, the acting deputy of SRCA President, Mr. Fayez Al Ahmari, looked forward to checkup the preparations of all services presented to pilgrimages in Holy Lands including ambulance vehicles and medical teams in Aziza neighborhood Support Center. In companionship of Mr. Al Ahmari, Advisor Abdul Aziz Abu Baker and the spokesman of SRCA Mr. Ahmad Barayan, who listened to full explanation about the nature of center tasks, and its implementation plan.

The delegation group visited Saudi Red Crescent Authority centers in Arafat, and Air Rescue Principle in which they met doctors and pilots working in the field. The group members listened to detailed explanation concerning contents of Air Rescue planes including medical equipments and materials.

Mr. Al Ahmari, Mr. Abu Baker, and Mr. Barayan met supervisors of Mina SRCA Supervisory Center to look over the operational plan that was approved from His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah. They also passed by rescue centers, planes' strips in location, plus Jamarat bridge to overview all related available facilities, like electrical elevators ambulance vehicles use to move fast from floor to another in Jamarat bridge.

The delegation group showed admiration and satisfaction of available preparations that would, by Allah's will, help to achieve high expectations of SRCA leadership and employees.

The Second Stage of Operational Plan has been completed its preparations today - 14/11/2010

Saudi Red Crescent Authority has launched yesterday the second stage of operational plan approved by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz. The second stage has concentrated on providing Arafat rescue centers by medical teams and ambulance vehicles, in addition to raising level of preparations in Arafat Holy Land. In this regard, Mr. Ahmad Aseeri, head of Arafat Supervisory, declared the readiness of 71 rescue teams, and 29 volunteers covering 19 centers established in Arafat. Mr. Aseeri assured the existence of 5 plains, as one of recent SRCA services, to provide urgent rescue support as soon as it is required. It is worth mentioning, the second stage of the operational plan started from early hour this morning has depended on studies and reports of previous Hajj season outcomes.

Mr. Aseeri finalized his speech by emphasizing on commitment of the operational plan till the end of current day, and by informing us of ambulance vehicles tours around roads back and forth to Holy Mosque and Jamarat.

SRCA has concluded its preparation in Mina Land - 14/11/2010

According to operational Plan statements approved by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Abdul Allah Bin Abdul Aziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, the Authority has concluded its processing in Mina Holy Land in preparation of receiving Allah Holy Mosque Guests. Mina area Supervisor, Mr. Saud Al Othman, informed that Authority has been recruiting trained manpower this year, represented in 103 rescue teams, and 24 medical doctors divided among 32 centers, all for purpose of serving pilgrimages. He notified that Mina Holy Land processing has been started at the first day of Dhu AlHijja, since many cases of Mina camps' workers have been saved inside the area.
